EOB new album Earth…. a few words.

I guess it would be impossible to hear an Ed O’Brien solo record without hearing an element of Radiohead but you don’t have to be a Radiohead fan to enjoy this. It is a mixed bag of sound, from dancing in a field electronica, the O’Brien guitar, hefty distortion on ‘Mass’ to the gentle folk of closing track ‘Cloak of the Night’. In fact, all this can be found in one song ‘Brasil’ as well as across the album. Ed says the album took 8 years to come together as he started writing it in 2012 living in Brazil. I reckon it was worth the wait. We like it! Why not give it a listen.
